Looking at a parts breakdown of your riding mower, it looks like you have a Hydro Stat transmission. This should use oil and not grease.
Do you have your owners manual for this mower??

If it is a peerless hydro tranny, there will be 2 plugs. One on the right side, and one small one under the fan. The large plug is where 85w-120 gear oil goes, and the small plug is where you will fill with 20w-50 synthetic. DO NOT let any dirt at all go into these holes, especially the small one where the 20w-50 goes.
