OK--it's dead. The HVAC company red tagged it mainly because of a cracked heat exchanger.
So my idea of DIY when I'm dealing with gas is to buy the right system at the right price, then have licensed people install it. I don't want to pay their mark up.
What is the best replacement, considering that I am not rich? I need the inside and outside unit, since the system is 16 years old.
Moderator: I AM asking for the best system at the best price, so if this post needs to be relocated, I'm cool with that.
