I have an old FBI II system and all worked fine until remodeling of kitchen. Now the system is dead. There is power going in to panel but everything is dead. No lights on key panels and not sounds. I only disconnected 1 motion sensor in kitchen and pulled wire through wall board. Could I have sorted something out? What could I have done to cause syetem to go dead? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You might have shorted the panel. Check inside the panel to see if there are any fuses out.
Did anyone disconnect the keypad at anytime?

Thank you. I will check for fuses. I am not familiar with the panel but I will look for a fuse. Regarding the key panal, no, no one messed with a key panel. My fear was maybe pulling the motion detector wires through the drywall I may have crossed wires but I thought since it was low voltage I did not have to worry. I cannot think of anything else I did other than lengthen a sensor wire by adding a splice.

Motions run on the 12v aux power that also powers the keypads. Odds are that you popped the fuse. If I recall, it's a standard old style automotive fuse.
