Hello,
I'm trying to get the 'follow me' system working on an Ademco LYNXR-I and am running into an issue or two. Hopefully someone has a few tips to point me in the right direction.
I'm trying to change field *42, but when in expert programming mode and trying to view (#) or change (*) either primary or secondary dialer phone numbers (fields *41 or *42) the panel displays 'EE' (nonexistent field).
When trying to change field *49 (split / dual reporting) from its current setting of 0, the unit will not allow a two digit code to be entered. Once the first digit is pressed (0-9) it accepts the change and moves on.
The installer code is still the system default, and the other fields seem to display / change as expected. I've had no problems with the unit when running alarm tests or adding wireless sensors.
It's almost looking like the phone number fields have some sort of lock on them, but I've reviewed all the manuals and haven't come across any reference to any sort of field locking ability.
Any tips or thoughts would be greatly appreciated as I'd really like the unit to report to the central office and to my cell phone.
Thanks for your thoughts!

Is this an ADT modified version? Often their versions of systems disable such features.

It's monitronics branded.. a good thought, perhaps I should give them a call.. but what fun is that :)
Thanks for the thought!!

Hmmm, Monotronic...It's very possible that they buy theirs with disabled features.
