When I power on the unit the red timer/standby light on the front panel flashes then the red stereo light next to it stays on. The audio works on all channels and video inputs, but no picture. All I get is a black screen on all channels and inputs.

This happened a few times before, once I paid to get this fixed which cost a fortune. Since them it happened again and came back on its own after I moved the set around. Anyone have the same experience or any ideas? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have soldering skills and a multimeter?Thats going to be the bare minimum to have if you want to attempt to DIY on tvs.
