I bought a house and the previous owners had no owners manual for the Honeywell 1500e MOD II. Well my dilema is that my young son turned on the alarm and triggered the sirens. I have no code to arm or disarm. I have gone to the control box and turned off the power switch.
Does anyone know how to reset to the default code so I can reprogram the arm/disarm codes.
I will have to get the keypad manufacturer information.

I can't find a manual for this system. Best bet would be to leave it powered down or upgrade to a modern system.

This is an pretty orphaned system. I agree, there is no residual support for this system; Honestly, it's time for an upgrade.

My searches show a lot of people looking for info on this pane, but nobody with manuals even for sale.

If your system is like mine, an alarm caused the system to dial the monitoring company. I should think that company would help you with programming. However... a card inside my control panel says: ARM/DISARM CODE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE:
1- Press prog codes button on control panel and verify pgm codes light turned on.
2- Press in order the four digit disarm code at the home security panel.
3- Press in order the two digit arm code at the home security panel.
----
Now for my question... How do I change the phone number which gets dialed for an alarm? I no longer pay the monitor company and would like the system to dial my cellphone!

It's an orphaned system that no one can seem to find installer manuals for. It's a dead end. Budget for a new control and keypad(s).
