Looking for a some opinions on holding rental properties in an LLC or something similar. I understand the basic pro's of using the LLC to shield personal assets from liability but it seems my umbrella policy is adequate for that. I was hoping some of the old pro's could expand on other issues involved...tax advantages/disadvantages for instance. I recently purchased a quad and would like to buy another. I'm a little late on educating myself on this but better late than never. Thanks.
