Decks, Patios, Porches and Docks - Kool Deck paint

I would like to paint the deck around my pool. It was originally painted by previouw owners but i know that it is Kool Deck. I checked the colors that Kool Deck paint come in and none match what I have, however the paint on the deck matches the color of the house paint. I am assuming that the previouw owners had it tinted to match. How can I find out what type of tinting can be added to the Kool Deck paint so that it is compatible? I tried to find Kool Deck manufacturers online but the only thing I get is where I can purchase it (pool stores mostly). Would appreciate any information......... Someone said that any kind of tinting would be O.K. because the quantity that is used is minimal - but doesn't oil based paint take a different kind of tinting than let's say waterbased?
