Hi everyone,
I am trying to program sensors into my simon XT but for some strange reason I cannot find the "sensor" option or the "learn sensor". I am using the installation manual but the directions are not matching up. Here's are the instructions that I am following:

Learning sensors
To learn a sensor:
1. Press the scroll buttons until the panel displays System programming.
2. Press Enter. The system prompts for an access code.
3. Enter the dealer or installer code and press Enter. The panel displays Access Codes.
4. Press the scroll buttons until the panel displays Sensors.
5. Press Enter. The panel displays Learn sensor.
6. Press Enter. The panel displays Trip sensor ##, with the number signs flashing.

Is there another way to do this.....or maybe I need some kind of a "dealer code" to access that feature? Please help...Thanks!

You will need the installer code. You cannot access programming with the master code. Are you under contract with an alarm dealer?

no, there shouldnt be a contract. I purchased it off of ebay from a seller who is selling a few of them. How can I find the installer code? Thanks

Default installer code is 4321. This is the code you will need to use to access system programming.
