From the posts here, I see that the GE Simon XT cannot support X10 devices. What do I do if I just want to control a couple of lights. Here are my questions:
1) If we go on vacation, I would like to be able to access the system on the internet and turn on a different light every night. How can this be incorporated into the Simon XT?
2) is there a low tech way to do this?

You would need alarm.com service to do this from the internet.

You CAN use the Simon 3 transformer on the XT for X-10...There is enough power to do this if you DO NOT use the Alarm.com radio with the system.

You have phone control built into the XT...Simply call your house every night and turn lights off/on via the telephone.
