I have had the system for about 4 years and am having problems with a wireless motion detector WLS 904.
The system is showing that there is a problem with the 904. I have removed it, put new batteries on it, and nothing seems to solve the problem. When I put it back on the wall, the system may or may not recognize it and all is "ready", but after a while, (hours) it goes back to showing Trouble for that zone.
I have determined that it is a problem with the motion detector itself. At this point, I would like to disable the sensor altogether until I can purchase another and reprogram it.
When arming the system, I will disable the zone temporarily (*1), but this is quite cumbersome after a while...
Can anyone tell me how to do the following:
1. Disable this zone altogether
2. Find a cheap replacement for this
3. once I find a replacement, how do I add it to the system
Additionally, is there a cheaper monitoring service that I can subscribe to (currently paying $23/mo to ADT).
Thanks in advance for your help! :)

First test: enter * 8 6321
If the system goes into program mode, enter # until it goes back to normal run mode, and post back with the zone number of the device.

First websearch using the phrase "DSC PC5010 Installer manual", "DSC PC5010 programming manual" and "DSC PC 5132-433 manual". You will need all three.
Enter the following:
*8 [installer code]
001
press any panic key/panic key pair twice
00 #
804
03
enter 000000
Press # until you are out of programming.
This sets the zone as disabled and erases the transmitter from the system.
