The first field of section [320] showed as 1234 on my display. I changed it by mistake. I want to set it back. My manual says to enter a one or 2 digit HEX code. I tried entering HEX F by entering *5 and hitting # but the code doesn't change. I've tried entering different values like *55 for HEX FF, and the numbers do change but randomly it appears. Does anyone know the proper way to program this section? Keep in mind that I have done [8][Inst Code][320]. Thanks for all info.

Ok, here's where you have to remember that despite being a LCD keypad, the 5501 still uses the interface for an LED keypad.
Each of those numbers corresponds to the 8 zone LEDs on a 5508 keypad.
Look at the chart in section 4.5 of your PC1555 manual, and those mysterious numbers will make more sense.

I have programming worksheets and Installation Manual for DSC Power832 PC5010 Version 2.0. Is that much different than PC1555?

Problem solved. I wanted to enter 15 which is hex F. unfortunately, I was entering *5 by error, which is 14 or hex E. I entered *6 and bingo. Thanks for everything. Sorry to take your time.
