Quick question,

I just reactivated an ADT Vista 10 (not an SE, I think),
I want to program the duress code. I've downloaded the
manuals, my question is, if I set it up, will ADT respond to
it, or do I have to deal with them to get it to work?

I will try to help: First, put your system on test with monitoring...chances are the duress is already programmed. With it on test try to arm and disarm with 2580 (this is the common duress code). If 2580 is not programmed, you will need to add a code to slot 8 by entering your master code +8+8+2580. Confirm that the code works and check with monitoring to see if a duress was reported. If one was not, then you will need to enable zone 8 (this will require an alpha keypad).

Good luck

I just noticed your title stated duress code & wireless. Do you mean you're communicating with a cellular dialer only? If so the Telguard TG1 (most common with ADT) will report the duress code, an alarmnet-GSM in zone mode will not
