Indigenous plants are pretty crucial to green landscaping/gardening. Buutttt.... does anyone know indigenous plants for specific areas? I'm in Southern New Jersey, Phila. Suburb area.
Does anyone know what grasses and shrubs should be planted?
(hoping to minimize watering)

Search for "xeriscaping New Jersey"

Here's one of the first links that came up. Your local University Ag Dept will prob have info, plenty of books at your library I'm sure.

Your local Cooperative Extension Agent is also a good source of info for drought resistant and native species that do well in your area.
