We just bought a 50 inch flat screen tv 3 weeks ago.
I helped my husband get the tv up on the stand.
Now 3 weeks later we notice a big grey spot on the side of the tv. (the frame)
We know that it is possible sun lotion I had on my hands when I helped moving it.
We have tried cleaning it according to the book.
Mild soap on a damp soft towel but it did not work.
Does anybody have any good advice on how to remove the sun lotion or is it to late.
Thank you.

plastic can be absorbent. I would try rubbing alcohol applied to a rag then wiped down

Maybe what you have is a tan line on your TV. :-) Seriously, I second the alcohol.
