I recently repainted old 1920 double hung windows, they were stripped down to the wood and repainted. They are not sticking because they were over painted, but they are sticky from the newness of the paint. What kind of lubricant could I use in the track to help both top and bottom windows slide better? Thanks

Plain old bees wax always used to help on those old wood windows, if you can find it. Not sure I would recommend any of the new chemicals on those old windows, but they might also help.

A block of Paraffin wax (found at most grocery stores in the canning section) works great, just rub it on. Also, a silicone spray works as well. It doesn't leave a gummy residue.

Elmer's makes a dry spray lubricant (can't remember the exact product name) that does an excellent job on sticky windows. It's not the easiest product to find.Try hardware stores.
