In my kitchen, from left to right I'll have the base cabinets then dishwasher, then fluted molding for refrigerator. Where the dishwasher meets the fluted molding do I need support for the granite counter top? If not, the granite will overhang the dishwasher and but up against the fluted molding.
If I do need to support the counter top, do I add support to the back wall and the right end? What kind of support do I use? A 2x4? 1x? If I need to support the right end do I use filler stock to cover the support?
If I need to use filler stock what is the best way to rip it to ensure I get a straight cut? I have a table saw with a rip fence.
