My Sharp TV (mod. 29RX10J) display has turned green. Any suggestions and recommendations to solve my problem would be very much appreciated.

Is the picture still normal and only the display green or is everything green?

Thank you for replying! The picture is normal, no destortion or anything... It's like someone has put a green film filter in front of the tv...anyway, my tv have a PIP feature (can view other channel while watching at your favorite channel or program). When i use this feature, the picture or display in it is normal while the main display is green.

Does the tv have A/V inputs?I ask because it's starting to look like a tuner problem. The PIP uses the same circuits to put the picture on the screen as the tuner. If the picture is correct for the PIP,then the color circiuts and crt are ok.
If it has A/V inputs hook them up and check the picture.Let me know what you find.

My tv has A/V inputs and it's the same scenario when i watch video...Anyway, everytime i switch on my tv, the picture is normal but after how many minutes, here comes the goblin(the problem)...

If I understand, the tv comes on ok at first with no green tint?Let me know if this is crrect because it makes finding the problem much easier. The A/V jacks doing the same thing rules out the tuner as being bad.

Exactly! Everytime i switch on, everything is normal and after, here's the green tint. This happens both in tuner and video.

OK.You need some chill spray or canned air should be cold enough.Remove the tv back and turn on the set.Make sure you dont touch anything inside the set because of shock hazard. When green tint appears spray the circuit board in small areas watching for the green tint to go away. When you find the area let the set keep running until the tint reappears. Now repeat the spray narrowing down the spray area until your left with only 1 or 2 components that are causing the problem.:)

i did what you've spoken before that maybe the tuner is the one responsible for it....i tried to remove the antenna from the tv and i watched a video, the display back to normal. maybe you're right and my tv is under observation for now. thanks for a lot!
