I have a 5 yr old Hitachi 50" LCD TV. The picture quality has degraded. There is a blue-ish/bright appearance in the center of the screen. I replaced the LCD bulb, but it has not solved the problem. Any ideas?

From Hitachi...Select a non-used or blank Video input.
The set displays a condition with a reddish or bluish oval relatively in the center of the screen
