I have a 27” Sony Trinitron TV, that I brought new in the mid to late 90's. The last few months it’s been acting up on me. When I turn it on, the picture comes on great for a few seconds and then the whole picture moves to the right hand side of the screen and the left hand side turns black and then the whole screen goes black. Everyone I have talk to say to buy a new TV, but right now I cannot afford a new one. I am thinking it is a vertical hold. I am an electrician and would like to fix this myself. If somebody out there knows what this is and tells me how to or what to do to fix this. The model # is KV 35V65 built in Dec. 1998 and ser. # is 9020506

Hi!
Could you please most the model # of the set? If you're patient, Craftsman50 knows televisions pretty good, so hang it there.
