Hi, everyone. I have a large bay window in my living room (it was one of the reasons I bought the house!). It is about 9' wide by 2' deep by 6' high, with the usual 45-degree angling of the side windows. I used to put houseplants in it but they didn't last long in New Hampshire winters. Right now I have 3 cat beds (what can I say, my kitties love the space) and a Pottery Barn ferris wheel (about 36" diameter -- I just liked how it looked, and the 18" base doesn't fit on too many shelves in my house!) in the window. For special occasions I change it, e.g. putting up a few spooky electric-lighted pumpkins and such for Halloween and a small decorated tree for Christmas, but other than that, I am stumped.

I feel like I am missing a huge decorating opportunity so would love some ideas! Keep in mind I do need to leave at least 1 cat bed in the window or my cats will revolt. :-) Other than that I am open to ideas.

Thanks in advance!
