Hi, does anyone know how to lower and slope an exsisting concrete slab? We have just bought a house and the concrete slab down one side is too high and is sloping towards the house. Due to it's elevated level we've been told it's too close to the damp proof course and what with it sloping towards the house we're in danger of it letting damp into the house. Can anyone advise me on how to remedy this problem? Is it possible to lower the slab and slope it away or do we have to remove it and start again?? Can we remove it?? Any advice would be much appreciated....thank you.

There is no way that I know of that would be easier or cheaper than simply removing and reconstructing it properly.
