I have recently decided to redecorate! Really, it all started when I went shopping for a coordinating loveseat sleeper. It has now evolved to a total living room remodel.
The wood flooring is oak stained dark cherry, same molding. The walls were recently painted a warm ivory.
Lichen Green Pottery Barn Henley Rug. Flokati Ivory wool rug for adjacent room.
Big Moss colored slipcovered, skirted w/ shelter style arm sofa and 2 big coordinating chairs.
THE DILEMMA:
I purchased pinch pleated drapes in ivory, oil rubbed bronze hardware, rods and rings. Should I have purchased the drapes in Moss as well??? I was afraid of toooo much contrast.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Should I have purchased the drapes in Moss as well???
My first question is, what do you mean by "as well"? Do you have more than one window to cover or are you buying them for more than one room?
Not a color expert but either color would work depending on the look you want. Some like the contrast and if you want the window/s to be a focal point then the green would work best. If you have another focal point in the room and prefer the window/s to just blend in, then go with the ivory.
Sometimes you really need to see it, so you could either buy both colors (is this what you meant by as well?) and check them out and return the ones you don't want or take a pic of the room with the window and print up a couple copies and sketch the panels on the window in each color so you have a visual. Seeing makes it easier to decide.

As indicated, adding color to windows will draw attention to them. If you have awesome windows and a great view, then colorful curtains can draw the eye to the windows. If windows are just ordinary and there is no great view, then window and wall treatment in same color tends to work the best. Too, depending on size of room and how full, colorful window treatments can be overwhelming and tend to make room feel smaller and cluttered.
