Leather, plastic, vinyl, or other material? Fabric lining with insulation? It may be easy to clean exterior of boots with recommended cleaners for material, i.e., leather cleaners, soap and water with disinfectant, etc. Lining will be a problem because it's usually layers of fabric, insulation, cushioning, etc. Cleaning an disinfecting can pose problems. You can clean and disinfect the surface material, but you can not clean the layers beneath. You may have some success absorbing odors by stuffing boots with kitty litter, activated charcoal, or other odor absorbent material. There are enzyme digester odor control products available such as OdoBan, Nature's Miracle, Out, etc. Again, you will be applying to surface of lining of boots. Keep in mind that when you are speeding down the slopes that the odor will not be an issue.
