Indoor Pest Control - Red squirrels under mobile home

I have a nest of red squirrels under my mobile home, between the subfloor and floor. I have a vinyl siding type skirtting all around the house and there is barely enough room between the house and ground to crawl under and try and find the buggers. When I went under today, I found all the insulation from between the floor and subfloor had been pulled out in one area, and it stunk like you know what! :madhell: As far as I know there is a mother and several young ones under there but haven't pin pointed the nest yet. When I go under again I am going to try and find the nest, pull it out, and reinsulate between the floors; Is there anything out there that may discourage these critters from coming back in after I've repaired thier damage.?( short of getting my shotgun out ). I live in a mobile home park within the city limits, so shooting them isn't an option, and there are many of my neighbours cats around so poison cann't be used either.

hardware cloth is about your only option to cover any openings that they are entering. squirrels will chew through almost any thing else to get back in. other wise a trap and then dispose of them, if you want to not kill them you will have to transport at least 12 miles to prevent their return.

if we're not supposed to eat animals why are they made out of meat?
