I hope this is the correct forum for this question.
We're in a new house and didn't pre-wire for connecting an outdoor OTA antenna to our two TVs. I'm having the antenna installed in a couple of weeks and the installer will run the coax from the antenna to a central spot in the basement. I want to put in the coax from there to the TVs to save money.
Of course, the problem is that all the pre-wiring was dropped from the attic, but I HAVE to run this coax through the basement/crawlspace.
Are there any tricks to doing this? Are there ways to drill down rather than up? I'm stuck......

The easy way is to just drill a hole in the floor close to the wall, and run your coax through that. A little better is to install a plate with a coax jack (really just coupler on a plate). You can drill a small hole where you want the jack, in the floor next to the wall, poke a wire down, go down under, then drill over, up into where the wall cavity is, the put the wire up, then install on the jack.
