So I'm done framing the wall for our bathroom remodel and just yesterday I pulled the old vanity out and pulled up the carpet that was installed.
What I found was a large crack about 2 feet long the looks like it extends under the wall and into our living room..

We plan to put tile in the bathroom, so what can I do to remedy this situation before we tile? Can I just seal the crack

Is there a height difference between the two sides of the crack, or is it still flush?

You should install a isolation membrane like Schluter Ditra, or a NobleSeal CIS type product.

Still Flush, I'll look into the two items you suggested, thanks
