I have a 1998 Polaris 5oo Sportsman
with 4X4 independent shaft drive ,2200 miles.
The rear inner and outer U-joints on both sides are done-in.
What is the procedure to replace the joints ?
Are any special tools required ?
Sometimes the manufacturer have special tools
for different operations.
