My grandaughter as just knocked and spilled a bottle of fragrance oil diffuser all over my timber entertainment unit.
I't taken the colour from where the oil went.
Can anyone help me with any ideas on how I can try to clean it??

I'd first try to wash the affected surfaces with dish liquid, using a couple squirts to a cup of plain water. As far as color loss of the enertainment unit, it may be because of lacquer finish and alcohol content of the diffuser. If diffuser contains alcohol, then discoloration is likely permanent. Damage to lacquer fiinish will require refinsishing of surface.
If in doubt, contact the manufacturer of the oil diffuser. Alcohol on lacquer finish tends to damage finish. Oil can also damage and soften finish.
