I re-covered a chaise because of a sag in cushion. It didn't seem to be problem with structure in frame but in the cushion so put new denser foam and now it looks like and feels like its starting to sag again...4 days out. It is 5" foam and the cushion has a cutout for the arm (1 side only). Sag seems to start at cutout. Help please

Hi and welcome to the forum! Sorry I missed this post.
Where are you buying the foam from? An upholstery supply place or a store like Joann's? That would make a difference. You need to be using a good quality dense, medium foam. The stuff from the fabric stores is crap to put it bluntly.

Go to an upholstery supply, ask for "loaded" or "nimbus" foam. I'm not sure the firmness, it depends on the platform of the lounge. Is the platform solid or a weave of something. Probably go with medium firm but that's arbitrary.
