I bought a Husqvarna riding mower , with a 25 horse v twin Kawasaki motor on it . after 140 hours it started spewing oil out of the crank case shaft , Kawasaki won't touch it because it's past two years of purchase , they hinted they had some with problems , but they wouldn't confess they have a design flaw . can this motor be fixed ? I'd hate to replace it with another piece of Kawasaki junk only to have the same thing go wrong , any ideas?

Please post numbers of the engine.

sounds like you have a crankshaft seal gone bad. Probably got hard from age. Easy enough to replace either on the unit or off. I like to pull the engine to make things easier to work on. Had a new unit in the shop with the seal lip rolled out. The engine is a super engine otherwise.
