Help. I have an old Craftsman riding mower that won't start. I've replaced the battery but it still won't turn. Won't click, nothing. I know there are several cut outs (weight in the seat, clutch pushed in, blade disengaged, etc.), can one of these be the problem? How would I check?

Check for a 15 amp auto fuse--should be located near battery.

If the fuse is good, then check for 12 volts on the white wire plugged onto the solenoid while trying to crank. If there is, and the solenoid doesn't click, then replace it. If there isn't, then there is a wiring or switch problem.
