We have a 43' Newmar Mountain Aire with carpet in the living area and bedroom. We have purchased vertical bamboo hardwood to replace the carpet. We have spoken with several people, including service personnel and the manufacturer. We have a variety of installment methods. We have been told to glue only, glue and nail, and nail only. With the flexing that occurs, we would like to seek the advice of an expert.

Thank you in advance.

The best advice is that of the manufacturer re: subfloor prep, acclimtion, year-round temp and acclimation, moisture test of subloor and flooring material, and cleaning and maintenance. If you are purchasing a product from a major manufacturer, you will likeluy find all necessary info on a website. If not, capture a copy of the instructions from a box of flooring. Let us hope that you are purchasing a product from a major manufacturer with good quality, warranty, and price point. If your manufacturer and warranty info is that of a company that if off in la-la land, then you are taking great chances.
