I the new addition to our home, want to "custom" install a DVD next to my chair so I can keep a small collection of DVDs and pop them in without getting up from my chair....

Am handicapped and can walk ok, but getting up is sometimes a struggle.

When wiring the distance from the DVD to the Television which is about 25' total, what gauge wire should I use?

Any other tips?

Thanks

That distance isn't an issue with any of the connections. No special cabling is required. Any decent-quality A/V cables will work fine. (Just don't buy the cheapest.)

If you're going to use the F "cable tv" connections, use RG6 instead of RG59.

How about just buying a DVD changer, which can store several DVD's and you can access and play them with the remote control.
