In modular home I removed original dining room carpet and pad. My kitchen has original vinyl. Putting laminate tile on both with 3mm underlayment (Blue Vertex). Do I need to remove the vinyl from the kitchen first.
Thanks

No, you don't. Only time you would need to remove it is if you had a height issue between the two rooms.

No the only difference is the height of the vinyl. So once I put on the underlayment, I can just go from dining room to kitchen?
