Morning all....
I have a Yamaha G9 that will not start...When the pedel is depressed, all i get a clicking sound at what i think is the Starter.. (a square unit with 3 bolt/terminals with wire going to them?)
Just wondering if there is anything else that I might do before getting this into a shop.
Thanks,
J

Thanks Diviot, Checked Batt...Fully charged...Cleaned the hell outta the treminals...Still just getting that Ckilking sound...I told a buddy about it, and he said that while i thought it was coming from the starter, it may actually be a Cellinoid (sp?)....Any other thoughts?

Check the ground wire that's connected to the frame at both ends. If the ground wire checks out ok you can jump the 2 large posts on the solenoid and if the cart starts the solenoid is bad. Jack the back of the cart up before jumping the solenoid...
