Newbie questions here:
I covered a coffee table with Slate tile, and as per instuction from my local hardware store, I used a Stone Enhancer (before grout) to get the finished look I was after. The product I bought says it is a Stone Enhancer that also acts as a Sealer.
I did apply and it looks GREAT. The problem is, I've let it cure now for almost 5 days, and it is still "tacky" to the touch.
Do I need to let it dry longer?
Do I need to wipe/buff it off?
Do I need to use a top coat sealer?
I'm totally lost now...
After this though, comes the grout questions. Depending on the answer for what to do about the tile, should I grout first or after correcting my tile problem?
My first project like this, and I'm at that half way point, where it looks great so far, and now I'm afraid I'll ruin it in the end.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi Hip,
You were supposed to wipe off the excess after it soaked into the slate for a period of time. What brand did you use?
I would wipe off now using white cotton rags. If still tacky, I would apply more, but wipe off after a few minutes. That should do it. Otherwise you may have to use a sealer remover depending on the brand/type.
I would fix this before you grout. You'll want to apply more after grouting too.
