My 1993 Melex golf cart doesn't run and a mechanic said the differential needs replacement. He said I need a new ring gear. Is this repairable? I wonder if you can use EZ-Go parts or if they need to specifically be Melex. The repairman said he would have a tough time finding the parts I need. Others say finding Melex parts is not a problem. Would this cost a lot of money to fix?

I opened the differntial case. The ring gear is broken, The part # on the differential is WGB301001. Can this part be located? If not, a new rear end perhaps?
