I am trying to avoid having to mudjack the patio, I am thinking of building a wood deck on top of it. In the meantime I think it should be sealed as it peaks in the middle so water will flow towards and away from the house. Particulary the raised stoop is really sunk towards the house.

Any ideas or suggestions? This is my first home so I am new to pretty much everything.

Thanks

On the raised stoop, I would fasten a board to the side that's parallel to the door so that it is a few inches above it. Mix portland with some sand, 3 sand to 2 portland. Make it a little higher on the wall side so it slopes down.

The cracks against the wall can be sealed with outside caulking from any hardware store.
