I have a DSC PC1500, it's an older alarm I know, I"m trying to access the programming system to turn off the bell squawk while the system is arming itself, the instructions tell me to press *8 then the master code, I do this just as it says, however, the system doesn't access the programming, I've gone in and reset the MC, and it still does not work, is there any suggestions?:wall:

That's * 8 + _installer code_. The factory default for this is 1500, but is most likely changed.
You may have to hardware default, but these are small systems with only 30 or so programming options, it's not hard to reset everything the way you want it.
