I'm looking to replace an old (unknown) piezo siren with an Ademco WAVE-2 or 2EX siren. This will connect to a Concord 4 alarm panel. The existing wiring is 22/4. Is it true that I can double up the two pairs to meet the newer 18 AWG requirements? I know it's ugly, but a new run is out of the question.
