Hi,
I have a big probably 80K or 96K grains Water softener with Clack Ws-1 meter valve in my new house. The previous homeowners have not left any manuals or programming instructions and I need to reprogram the system and salt dosage and learn about this system.
I have 4 adults and 2 kids in house and hardness is 31 grains. I read here that there is a way to increase the salt efficiency to above 3000 grains / lb of salt.
I downloaded the clack valve manual butI dont see that in the Clack Manual on how to program the salt dose and none of the threads mention that.

Set the program # 25, the capacity at 60K salt dose at 18 lbs and the calendar override at day 4. PrE refill is better than Post refill.
