Hi, I am new to this place but I like what I see. I am getting ready to build an off-road Kart-have four-wheeler wheels and tires, frame and getting 4 wheeler suspension. What I am unsure of is the drivetrain. Is a 13 hp Honda good enough to have alot of fun with just a chain on a centrifial clutch? Should I think about a torque converter with belt AND then chain drive to axle sprocket? Thanks in advance for any help.

Does noone out there know anything about drive systems for a 13 hp buggy? Comet clutch or centrif?

There are good centrifugal clutches, but I suggest using a torque converter if the kart is going to be used on anything other than flat smooth ground.
