If it is the first time we have used it on a given day, the washing machine will stay on the fill cycle. If you stop it and manually advance it to the spin cycle, it will spin and drain. Then, if you start it back at the beginning of the cycle, it will fill, agitate, spin and drain, as if there is no problem. If you follow the first load immediately with a second load, it will usually go through the cycle without any sign of a problem. Model # is WBSE3120B2WW. Any help would be much appreciated.

Something to look at first is to check the drain hose, Is it to far down the drain? Should only be about 4 inches in tube.
Most likely cause is timer motor which means you need a timer.
