My customer ordered a Liz Claybourn 6.25 chablis vineyard bevel maple pre-engineered floor to be put over a concrete floor. The contractor showed up with a part # VYM6196 from Herregan distributors that looks like a knockoff product to me. It is only a two ply instead of the 5 ply they looked at. The flooring person assured them it would work just as well. I am having a hard time finding out whether or not this two ply from Herregan distributors will in fact work as well for a glue down application to concrete as the 5 ply originally looked at. How much would a two ply VYM6196 cost per square ft in a two ply? I just dont feel the customer got what they paid for.
