My GE Prodigy washer (WNSE4200A0WW) will not spin. At the end of every cycle when it should spin, the motor keeps clicking on and off. I can hear the relays clicking, and the lights in the room dim a bit every time the motor kicks back on.

When put into field service mode, the washer works in fast agatate, and spin. However it does the clicking on and off thing when put in slow agetate. There are no error codes.

When I take off the belt, it runs in fast agatate and spin, but clicks on for a half a second and about every two or three seconds. It does not cycle on and off as fast as it does with the belt connected.

I'm not sure if it is a bad motor or transmissio. Or if perhaps a bad trans caused a bad motor. Any advice or information would be appreciated. Is there a way to test the trans or motor?

The motor is 1/2hp 1725/1140rpm.

Thanks,

They have a new motor and wire harness for that machine. Usually motor bad when this machine won't spin. Here is a link to your machine
