I bought a brand new Bosch Integra dishwasher (SRV53C03UC) and am trying to install. I'm looking for the small parts bag and figured it must be in the dishwasher, since I can't find it on the outside of the machine anywhere.
Anyway, I can't figure out how to open the damn door. I've tried plugging it in but nothing happens.

It should just pull open. If it is not installed in the cabinet, it can be a bit tough to open the door though. You need to hold the tub still while pulling on the door.

There's a small door handle recessed in the top portion of the unfinished door. I've pulled for all I'm worth and no go.
Also, when i plug in the unit the control panel doesn't light up, is there an electronic interlock with supply water pressure such that the panel doesn't work unless there's water pressure ?
This is one hell of a machine, there a very few installation instructions. Thankfully this is my second machine or i'd be totally lost. Never faced a situation where i can't open the front door.

Finally got it open, I attacked the door with confidence that I knew what I was doing and she opened.
The bag of parts was inside but very skimpy instructions. I still haven't fugred out how to install the custom kitchen cabinet panel.
Not a warm & fuzzy installation process.

you can't do that, its against the rules = you did not say how you got it open, and/or how it is supposed to open.

Sorry, I guess the latch is quite tight and in combination with being packed tightly in the crate the seal was pretty tight.
This forum gave me the confidence to pull with all my might and I did and it opened. The temporary handle they give you on the unfinished door is kind of low and doesn't give enough leverage. I gripped with my fingers at the top of the door and it finally pulled opened.
Good reminder to locate final handle you install as high as possible on the door, to give you leverage to overcome latch resistance, she's definitely tight.
