Hey I got this TV from a friend and the picture comes in very blurry. I can't even make out the channel or menu or anything on the screen. Is there a way of adjusting this? I heard there was something on the back so I removed the cover but not quite sure what to do. Do I need a new bulb? Or can this be adjusted? Thanks

There are a few things you can try.
Remove the front speaker grill. You will see some screws just under the screen .Take the screws out and the screen will iether just pull ouy or slide up a little and pull out.clean the mirror and the top of the crt lenses.{the three glass bulbs}.Post back and let me know if this helps.

After I posted that I noticed the cover in the front and had pulled that down.. on the left side there were 3 sets of knobs that read focus and red green blue... so i started playin with them and adjustin and the picture cleared up juss the colors are a little off, looks like it needs tweakin.. so I thought I found the problem and fixed the blurryness but this morning it was back to being blury, so i removed the cover again and adjusted so it cleared up then poped in a dvd and let it play and left.. when i came back the movie was halfway thru and the complete screen was black... can these knobs be the problem? I will try and cleen the lenses and see if it help. I imagine it is the 3 leneses the blue green and red ones.. and just clean with windex i assume? thanks for the input and help

Thats the focus screen assymbly. That is what I was hoping was not wrong. It's a common failure in zeniths. It is not a very DIY friendly part to change.
