The soap dispenser on my Kenmore dishwasher, mod # 665.13719k601, won't open on any setting. I have verified that it is not hitting anything.

Any ideas? it is a year old...one month past warranty.

If you can take the outer door panel off, you should be able to see why the door will not open. Many use some type of warp control, sometimes the shaft of the soap door will get stuck with soap, and a good cleaning may solve your problem. If not that, run a short cycle with the outer door panel off, and see what happens when the soap door should open.
