The schematic shows a fuse inline but I can't find it. I am relatively sure that is my problem. Dumb me. I opened the dryer front without unpluging it. When I pulled the front door safety interlock off, I sparked the switch against the metal body. The interlock still works as tested by resistance check with multimeter. Dryer was working fine up until that point. Now nothing comes on. I looked in the control panel on top and all around the drum but don't see it. M/N: LNC8433A80, S/N: 29AO22380 or 29A022380. It is a large capacity (20LB) dryer. Can anyone help me locate the fuse? garykite@juno.com and gary.kite@ontech.com

Maybe your eyes are looking for wrong thing. MAYBE fuse is a thermal that has 2 wires to it. Or some fusible link (wire, where thinner gauge of wire is intended to burn in half ).; With wiring diagrams you can usually tell where the part is located according what the wiring diagram shows on either side of it.
